| very good camera for the price....at first i was a little skeptical because i was going for a Kodak but the price was a lil too high for me.
must say for 8.1 MP it takes really good pics....love the zoom....don't know what's the problem with the guy before....maybe it cuts off
because of power save feature....very good video quality i must say.....very good battery life too........ |
| Problems: ahh...problems i will say the shutter button gets stuck sometimes.....so u might want to catch a special moment and u will miss it..
just make sure you hold it down far enough for it to focus then take your picture... |

| At first glance this camra really got my attention in a Canton (China) electronic market where my friend was actually looking for couple of Cyber Shots and I was just window shopping. The E800 sounded too good to be true for its price. You get a cute little piece of tool with 8.1 mpxl along with a substantially large screen and a lithium inbuilt battery + 2GB Memory with Audio Visual recording for just 850 RMB (Appx 120 US $ whereas Cyber Shots with similar features would cost around 2000 RMB/ around 300 US $ )...... I couldnt help getting one for myself. I am usually a safe buyer who had always gone for high priced Sonys.... the E800 had been my frst run away attempt from the typical high priced brands... as I told earlier, I couldnt help it! |
| Problems: I have been using the E800 for two weeks now..... and its really breaking my heart! its power system shuts down by itself in the middle of no where, specially when i am trying to use the zoom in/ out button ..... it feels like there is a sort of short circuit between buttons that really driving the E800 nuts...... May be from next on i should stick to sonys. I feel so down! The problem is I can only do something about it in my next trip to China which is not going to happen any time sooner! Too bad. |
