| An Excellent camera....compared to the recent range of pocket cameras designed for a budget, this is a real semi pro camera with a razor sharp L series lens n pity Canon has stopped its production.It was sold at a premium price as it was designed for the high end market n has the image quality to prove.Buy one if you can still find it in the secondhand market>!! |

| I wanted to love this camera... not possible. A friens dropped it fron about a foot onto a cement flood. Blaf! The stutter plastic rammed into the shutter button causing some internal damage. DidiI say I live in India? OK,
I took it and had a new shutter assembly imported from Singapore, itted at an inflated expense he in Chennai'.Worked for a week then developed problems. Had it service in the US by Canon. Many parts ( internal ) changed. Worked for week. Brought it back looking forward to taking it to the Andamans... No chance; it decided it didnt want top go and refuses to operate at all. Did I get a lemon? Yep! avoid this puppy like the plague. |
