VeEry good camera for the price, don't expect to get 2 000 $ pictures with a camera under 100 $, we have been using Kodak Easyshare cameras for work for a long time, ever since the first one, they are reliable affordable and take good pictures. one comment for all that rate this camera less than 5 is read the manual.

i would rated it with "zero" if i could! i made a test indoor between this shity kodak and my cellphone (Sony ericsson k800i) wich has integrated an 3.2 Mp sony cybershot camera. Downloaded the pictures into my computer and zoomed them in parallel on my lcd. Surprize...the quality was almost the same! I think kodak made a very bad image processor, or CCD, ore something...cause is strange that the picture made with kodak 7Mp (3056*2292) had 459KB and the cellphone 3.2Mp (2048*3056) had 828KB. Anyway..i was testing also Sony DSC W55, huge difference. I will return it tomorow and probably buy sony dsc s730 wich is 125$. sorry for my bad english.

I agree with Rob, it is the best camera you can buy. This is one of the few cameras out there that actually alow you to think and take a picture the way you want to. For those that have bad results it isn't the Cameras fault that your a fucking idiot.................................... If you cant take a perfect picture with this camera then you a lazy fucking slob and need to learn about flash, ISO, and other things. Don't bitch because your lazy and fucking stupid, instead go get a little kid camera that requires no thinking at all. I saw a Barbi camera that would be perfect for you dumb fucks, it sells for .99 at K-mart.

ı've just bought this camera and ıt is satisfactory in my opinion. firstly its size is handy and comfortable one of the negatives is no visor just LCD and ı agree the deficiency of flash but not so bad. advantages there are so many options that provides suitable athmopsphere according to set for ex. snow, scene,child... this machine is great for this price but of course not the best u can buy better one if u give 400-500 dollars

I just so happen to be a professional photographer who works for Adobe and thought for a joke I would try this inexpensive .00 Kodak camera out against some of the big boy cameras I own. Well, John is correct; the camera is a 5 star all the way. The people that are rating this camera under 5 stars first of all don’t know a thing about photography and secondly are probably working for the competition. All settings on this camera work perfectly just like they say they do. As far as shooting in day or night, the camera does a perfect job in both. The people that say it does not shoot well in low light are either not using the flash or they are out of flash range. That is a huge problem now days with people that give things low ratings, they don’t read the product specifications. The flash distance for all you morons giving this camera a bad rating is as follows: Wide angle: 2 – 11.8 feet @ ISO 200 Telephoto: 2 – 6.9 feet @ ISO 200 Anyway, great camera 5 star all the way.
Problems: None

I have to agree with everyone here. after putting the batteries in for the fist time the screen was black in white with lines in it. had to take them out and reload the batteries. the screen came on fine. this happen almost every time putting batteries in. the screen was horrible to look through. all the pictures came out bad. taking out the memory card was a pain i

piece of junk. I expected more from Kodak. Severe let down. Too "cartoony". not enough functions. horrible color translation. I agree with Tina, this camera should be recalled. shame on Kodak for letting it be sold under their name.
Problems: low light color translation was HORRIBLE. see for your self: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b380/zombieregime/000_0003.jpg if i could give a lower rating i would

Out of the box this camera does not take perfect pictures. If you take still pictures in a well lit area then you will have decent results. I bought this in an emergency situation when my other camera died during a 3 day sporting event. The price was right but the results from day 1 of using this camera were dismal. Day 2 and playing with lighting i was able to get some use-able shots. Almost all of my still shots were fine. The one plus was the video capture seems to work well for the cost of the camera. If you want a point and click out of the box do not buy this camera it will take a bit to get used to and to get decent pictures.
Problems: picture quality is tricky to get right. hi motion shots are impossible. but i expected that with the cost. not perfect but with work the camera is workable.

Very disappointing No success at all no matter what I try. My old cx 7300 3.2 megabites has much better results. I think Kodak should recall every one of the C713 version and refund the money. The serial number of the camera is KCGHP73927643. Not sure where is was manufactured. I don't recognise any of the text on the outside of the box. Japanese? Chinese? Arabic?
Problems: Wavy outlines of horizontal and vertical lines. Just not clear. No definition. Dreadful colours I had waited a long time to upgrade to this camera.I am very disappointed. It retails at 9.00 New Zealand. A rip off!!

Horrible Camera! I waited as long as I could to stray away from my Kodak CX743 and I finally did when I found this on sale at Walmart. Got it home took pictures of my Daughters first birthday and regretted ever buying it. The pictures were very blurry on every setting I used. Guess I will just try to find another old Kodak.
Problems: Blurry Picture warning on every picture using every setting. (My two sisters bought the same camera and all of us ended up returning them)
