| My daughter got this camera for her birthday in June. She barely used it the when on vacation at the end of august is just stopped working. Turns on for a second then turns right off. From my research it looks like this is a common problem. Wouldn't suggest buying this camera.

| same problem. Come on and shut down right away. I think it is a over current in the motor that move the lens. |

| Problems: had camera for about 6 months and now having problems with camera coming on it'll come on then shut right off don't know if it's the battery or what just started doing it out of the blue when taking pics
