| not a very good quality camera,but still a good first camera |

| I took a bold step on my FE330 today - took it apart! Slowly but gently I removed all those tiny screws and saw the printed board. I then pierced and removed the push button switches plastic sheet with a pen knife.These are the miniature contact buttons that that moves pics up. down, left and right. I then scrapped the copper platings with a sharp pen knife and inserted back the plastic sheet correctly. Since I was there I cleaned all other contact copper plates. You must do it with no distractions - an uncluttered table with good lighting. Be carefull to put back the screws in the right hole - they are diffrent sizes. All done - now the camera works perfectly. Olympus is not a lousy camera after all - .it is user friendly. please feel free to contact me in case you need help. Note: As digital cameras are very compact, miniature switches and tiny multi connector sockets fail by loose contacts and dirt/oxidation. |

| Olympus is really a lousy camera. Bought a u-710 - the LCD blanked just after warranty. Then I bought FE330 due to the xD card already bought seperately - cannot review or connect to camera. Olympus is suppose to be world class - Sony or Samsung seems better reliability. |
| Problems: The FE-330 takes pics alright but only can review the last taken pic, it jus stays there and pressing any other button does not review other pics. When connected to PC - it shows the yellow PC Connect and stays there.No buttons work. I format memory, reset to default, remove and insert battery and also gave battery a full charge. Can anyone help. Bought camera at Cash Converter for malaysian RM300 2Gb xD. |

| I thought this camera was purely amazing. I can't spout off a lot of information on the technology, but I can tell you that this little fella gave me everything I needed for a first time camera. It has various settings to give you whatever you want, but I hardly used the video on it because it was something I wasn't interested in. When I used it, I was zooming in to an extreme or I was immediately close to the subject. The pictures always came out better than I expected. (However, some flowers that were certain shades would come out a little different in a picture.) I really recommend this camera for someone like me who just wants it for a hobby and to capture a moment. It fits pefectly in a pocket, purse, or whatever and it is very light weight. I haven't had any trouble with it taking a bit of a bruising and even sitting on it...still works fine. I was pretty brutal to the thing, but it still works fine for six months. My only problem now is that I want an upgrade. Still a cool little camera.

| Problems: Not turning it on quick enough. Sunsets are hard to get a picture of. This camera is still fantastic and I would recommend it. |

| i just bought this camera a little over a week ago, and have already taken 150+ photos. It's a nice step up from my previous cameras, and is very sleek, and stylish. It has a nice large screen, easy to use buttons, and nifty features. the menu also offers some simple yet handy options. So far it has been a good camera and i hope to have it in my possesion for a little while yet. |
| Problems: My only problem so far is with the added sound to photo clips. I have found this feauture, and got a little carried away, but now i cannot seem to find a way to delete the sound clip without deleting the picture itself. i would like to find a way to do this. If anybody knows how to do this. please contact me. |
