| I got this camera a year and a half ago as a Christmas gift. As far as it shutting off or the screen breaking, I have not taken very good care of it and it has been just fine. A piece of the battery fell off, but it still works. HOWEVER, the quality of the pictures is absolute shit! If they're not too bright and washed out looking, they seem dark and grainy and just plain horrible and I have tried every setting imaginable on the thing. At least I wasn't the one who wasted the money on it!!! |

| We have purchased 60 of these units for use around a college campus by staff and students. We've have 10 that failed with either the lens remaining out or displaying lens error on the screen and turning themselves off.
Great features, extremely poor quality - would never buy Sanyo again. |

| I HAVE HAD THIS CAMMERA for over 3 years never had a problem i got some super batts from a toy model shop and can get about 80 real hi quol pic if i was fast with the pic takeing anyway haha.. never had a problem no need to updrade |

| It was a good camera to start off with. My aunt bought one for me for Christmas last year then like 3 or 4 months later it wouldn't work anymore. The screen went black and it wouldn't even take a picture or record or anything!! It would also power up and shut down randomly even. Now i probably can't even exchange it.
I now own a Nikon Coolpix L100 and it's the BEST camera i've ever owned!!!! |

| I was on my honeymoon in Fl and there was sand in the lens and it would not open then of course walmart threw a fit about exchanging it but they finally did. Then not even a year later the battrie is fried and of course no one carries a replacement battery so I will be calling sanyo and trying to get a fre replacement batterie. On the other side I had a 400.00 dollar digital camera and it was not all that great either. I think I will stick with a 35 mm camera and just take the pics. the old fashion way. |

| I also have this camera and it goes on, then in seconds shuts off. BRUTAL. This is the 2nd Sanyo I have bought, and I will never buy one again. I never dropped it, under one year old, and can't find any replacement batteries in my town, plus expensive to order one on line. |

| I got this for my daughter for Christmas and after 10 months it powers up then shuts down after about 3 seconds.After some research I see this is a problem with alot of them.I have E-Mailed customer support off the Sanyo web page and I hope anyone else who has this problem does the same.Maybe if enough of us give them an earfull they will stand behind thier product.It can't hurt! |

| Its a good camera... but my problem is that i was reading the manual and i found out that i can also use it as a webcam... loved that idea so i did what it said.. i put my disk in i loaded the program i plugged it in to my computer and then the screen on the camera came on gave me 3 options i did as the book told me.. go to the third option and click the one that says pc camera.. ok done.. .then my computer screen goes blue... and i have to turn it off and try again... |

| Perfect... Way more than I could have expected for under 100 bucks!! I've read the other reviews and I am truly surprised. I drop mine all the time (still not broken). I have owned this for about 1 year now. The pictures are all coming out in excellent quality (especially on the macro setting for small critters and details). I am very happy with my cute blue sanyo! |
| Problems: problems? hmmmm....I wish i could zoom in when recording video...everything else is adjustable in the menu...(like saturation) The flash is bright! but that is adjustable too... The anti shake is shakier than without this setting! Thats kind of weird! I read others complain about color manipulation, but i think these users are not adjusting the saturation feature. |

| This camera was ok, but now it has a blank white screen and I cant see or do anything at all. Sanyo has very poor customer serivce and warranty on their products. This camera has never been dropped or anything, always kept in the case. There is no reason for this screen to go out like that.
I would never own another sanyo product.
Panasonic and sony both replace and repair any of their products at anytime for any reason. Sanyo Sucks |

| This camera turn off by it self. I just bought it also last Christmas and it only last for 3 months! I returned it and they checked if the unit is really broken. Now, they're saying that the battery is the problem and I needed to replace it. I asked them how much their battery and they told me it cost $64! It is half of the price of this camera. I HATE THIS PRODUCT. |

| I have this camera for 1 year and it's okay becuase I have dropped it ALOT and nothing happend to it just alittle scrashes but nothin bad. It does everything it says in the box. I like that it has different colors for the pictures like black and white, brown, red, blue, purple, green and others. Its not to thick or to thin size wise. Easy to turn on and i like the zoom button. Its a good camera. |
| Problems: Okay the bad things are that when you are video taping you cannot zoom in or out I hate that. Another thing is that it doesn't have enought buttons like the delete buttom is together with the down arow button. When I had like a month with it, it would sometimes freeze on me but all you have to do is hold the on/off button for a few seconds and it works again, but now its doing it often but remember i have 1year with it. the anti-blur aint so well sometimes. Other then that its a good camera it does last a long time. |

| It is an okay product. I have had two of them. My first one broke because i dropped it and the lens cracked, so i bought another one because the warranty does not cover the LCD screen. My second one i had for six months now and the screen just broke again. You have to be extremely careful with it or else it will break on you. But other then the crappy screen its a very good camera. |

| This camera does what they say it does, I had mine for almost 6 months and had no broblems whatsoever. I've used it take videos as well as still photos. When I bought mine I got the memory upgrade and never regreted it. i take it everwhere; it seems that I'm taking pictures of everything. Trying to get that one in a million shot. |

| Don't buy this please, you'll be very disappointed! I had a Kodak M1033 and I complained about how it was an okay camera but not enough quality. Till I received this particular camera, now I appreciate it very much so. This Sanyo is honestly just a nice camera for maybe a stay at home mother or a younger teenager. It's very light and it comes it the funnest colors, I have the metallic orange one. It's very pretty and it's also a camcorder and web cam. |

| I don't mind this camera. Mine only malfunctioned once when the lens cover (the little black things covering the lens) wouldn't shut but it fixed itself. The battery is kind of short but it's not terrible. It's like my second digital camera and for that it's not that bad. |

| This camera is the worst. Since I had it it shuts on off at will, it freezes and now it won't even come on at all. The light comes on but the monitor is blank and you can't use any of the functions. Also when i was working it did not keep a charge long even when it was charging for over 24 hours.
I am going to reprot them to the better Business Bureau and see if we can do a class action suit or something . it not fair that everyone is having the same problem. If anyone has been able to resolve thier issue, please let me know |

| I have used this camera three times since i got it. During that period opf time the camera would shut on and off by itself or free. I took it on vacation with me and and I was so angry becasue it kept doing it. Now the thing won't come on at all. The light comes on but the LCD monitor is blank and yuo cant do anything.

Today, I took my son to the zoo for his first birthday for no more than three hours. by the last part of the zoo, my camera had died, after it had been charging all night. And to top it off, it's been shutting off on its own accord. This thing is a real p.o.s. Would never buy another one. I should probably also mention that I got this camera less than a month ago, and I've only used it about ten times. |

| I love this camera! It works great, although if I do too much at one time, it kinda freaks out and turns off, but if I turn it back on, everything's fine and works awesomely! This camera is awesome when it comes to redeye fixing, zooming far distances, and changing the picture color! For example, you can make the pictures more Vivid, a different primary color, or make the picture look old-fashioned! It's small, compact, and very lovable!! |

| I've had this camera for about 2.5 weeks (Walmart's warranty barely expired) and I am having the same problem everyone else is having with it not staying on. I went to sanyo.com and can't even find this model on their website (there's no search option) and Walmart doesn't even have it on their website either. If you call the sanyo service number, you can't talk to a human being. I would not buy this camera. When it worked it was great as far as ease and picture quality, but for $100 I would expect it to last a little longer. What a piece of shit! |

| Okay, first of all I work at WalMart and they told you to return it within 15 days because thats walmarts policy on electronics. You have to return them within 15 days and thats for ANYTHING not just this one camera. Second of all if youve had it for 30 days and you cant return it to walmart and you say its broken, then talk to the manufacture its got a 90 day warranty on it.
And last, I have this camera and I love it. The buttons are good and the zoom is awesome and if you treat the camera right then it treats you right. Dont expect to be able to take a camera like that around in a backpack and for it to survive, take care of your stuff and you wont have problems with it after 30 days. I like pretty much everything about this camera its got AMAZING settings and for the price you can get it at its a really really good camera. |

It only has 4 buttons and that round thing for left, right, up, and down so it's not like those cameras with like 10 buttons all squeezed in next to the preview screen. It takes really good pics and the screen is nice and big....and you can take pics in yellow, red, purple and other colors but I'm sure other cameras can do that too. |
